    Ruqyah (Qur'anic Healing)

Beautiful Recitation of Surah's and Ayat to be used in Ruqyah (Qur'anic Healing) recited by the world renowned Hafiz Shaykh Yahya Hawwa.

To cure black magic the following verses from the Qur'aan should be recited: on water, some of which is drank and the rest is used to take a bath.

    verse Al-Kursi (2:255), surah Al-Kafiroon (109), surah 112, 113, 114 ; the verses which mention magic, which are: in surah Al-Baqarah (2:102 ), Al-A'raaf (3:117-119), Yunus (10:79-82), and Taha (20:65-69).

Among the du'aa's which have been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to treat diseases such as sihr and other things is the ruqyah by means of which he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to treat his companions: “ Allaahumma Rabb an-naas, adhhib il-ba's, washfi anta al-Shaafi laa shifaa'a illa shifaa'uka shifaa'an laa yughaadir saqaman (O Allaah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal him, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing, with a healing which does not leave any disease behind) .”

So this dua which you posted is not exclusive for sihr, but it should be recited for operation against any other disease or ailment as well. Jazakum Allah khair.

    jazaakalaah for this.

If possible, can you please elaborate on how one is supposed to do self ruqiya?

How much water do you need? Do you like take a cup of water and hold it near your lips as you recite the verses from the Quran? Then how do you take a bath with it?

Also do you have a reference for that dua you quoted?

Also I'm a bit paranoid about copyright infringement - is that CD you linked to free?

    sorry for all the questions.

One thing I wonder about is that to cure the ayn or magic you should recite the Qur'an and blow in the water and drink it. However does it also work to play the Qur'an next to the glass with the intention or must you, yourself recite it and blow in it?

Akhee Ayman what is the correct way to do it?

    As salaam alaikum,
    Are the following verses correct:

    Aaayaat ash-Shifaa

Qaatiloohum Yu’ath-thib Humullaahu Bi Aydeekum Wa Yukhzihim Wa Yansurkum ’Alayhim Wa Yashfi Sudoora Qaumim-mu’mineen.
    (At-Taubah, Verse Number 14)

    Yaa Ay-yuhan-naasu Qad Jaa Atkum-mau’ithatum-mir-rab-bikum Wa Shifaa Ul-limaa Fis-sudoori Wa Hudaw-wa Rahmatul-lil Mu’mineen. (Yunus, Verse Number 57)

Thum-ma Kulee Min Kul-lith-thamaraati Faslukee Subula Rab-bika Thululun, Yakhruju Mim Butoonihaa Sharaabum-mukhtalifun Alwaanuhoo Fihee Shifaa Ul-lin-Naasi, Inna Fee Thaalika La Aayatal-li Qaumin Yatafak-karoon.
    (An-Nahl, Verse Number 69)

Wa Nunaz-zilu Minal Qur’aani Maa Huwa Shifaaun Wa Rahmatul-lil Mu’mineena Wa Laa Yazeeduth-thaalimeena Il-laa Khasaarun.
    (Al-Israa, Verse Number 82)

Wa Ithaa Maridhtu Fa Huwa Yashfeen. (As-Shu’araa, Verse Number 80)

Fasatath Kuroona Maa Aqoolu Lakum, Wa Ufaw-widhu Amree Ilallaahi Innal-laaha Baseerum Bil ‘Ebaad. (Al-Fussilat, Verse Number 44)

And are to be recited in full or only part of Ayah? If only part of the Ayah, which part?
