The Legends of Islām Series: The Legacy of 'Umar bin 'Abdil 'Azeez (RH)

Come and learn about the legacies of some of the greatest men in history.

"I never saw anyone that would pray and fast as much as him. Nor did I see anyone that had as much fear as him. After Isha he would just sit and cry until sleep would overcome him. And in the middle of the night he would wake up and start crying again until sleep would overcome him. Sometimes he would be in bed and think about a matter to do with the akhirah and start shaking like a bird that shakes off water." (Fātimah, the wife of 'Umar bin 'Abdil 'Azeez)

    ['Uluuw al Himmah]

Who was 'Umar bin 'Abdil 'Azeez?
    What made him so special?
    Who was his great grandfather?
    Was he a Mujaddid?
How did he live his life?
    Was he a Khaleef?
    How did he die?

For the answers to these and much more,
