Here they go again, those tame Muslims who kowtow to the kuffaar:

It's just predictable now that whenever a Western person is jailed or held captive by Muslims, these people, these "moderates", fall over themselves to please their kaffaar masters.

Yet again we might - and should ask - why the likes of them don't fly out to try and arrange the release of the many thousands of Muslim prisoners and captives held by the US and others in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay and so on.

wait, wait, wait... you don't have to fly out to demand the release of Muslim prisoners...

They can start off by demanding the undoing of the scandalous trial against 'lyrical terrorist'...
  3. Wait, she's been found guilty of a crime (whether they agree with the charge or not) and is serving a very short sentence of 15 days. Whilst Muslims here are imprisoned for 28 days without charge and the government wants to increase it even more, some even want 90 days!

    What a disgrace!

Well, maybe they are not doing the wrong thing by helpong this woman if she is unjustly imprisoned (which it seems she is).

My problem with these peers is that they have sold out their religion at home and are ashamed of representing their own constituents for fear of upsetting their masters (hence their silence at the lyrical terrorist case and their condemnation of other Muslims)

These are Murtad Mushrik Taghut Lawmakers and not Muslims at all.

What else can be expected from them? To petition Brown for the release of Musim captives from Belmarsh? Wake up,

I have no opinion on those two individuals since I don't know anything about the UK scene, but I *would* like to state that it *would* be great if some traditional and orthodox Ulema petition for the speedy release of the British woman. I believe that we Muslims should help the oppressors; how do we help them? Like the Prophet said: by preventing them from oppressing.

The Prophet did not punish the man who urinated in the mosque, which is more inflammatory than accidentally naming a teddy bear. (Having said that, I do not think it is proper to name a non-human with the name of our Prophet.)

I think someone like Shaykh Salman al-Aodah [h] should get on this.

I think you are confused just like the other members in this forum who are grieving over the imprisonment of these filthy kafir teacher.

NEVER believe everything you read in the media.

There is much more to this story than the naming of the teddy bear adter Muhammad(saas) which is far worse than an ignorant unmannered bedouin peeing in the Masjid. Some news has come to me that this teacher said that the prophet Muhammad (saws) was a bad person and that a dog was involved in this whole incident. Muslims in Khartoum are calling for he to be executed. It is actually the apostate government that saved her life. The people wanted Shariah justice.

she was sentenced to a mere 15 days charged with the offence of inciting religious hatred whilst in the UK the equivalent charge carries SEVEN years if convicted, and that doesnt even include the time held before conviction!

the papers were quick to bemoan her plight and the conditions that she would face in sudanese prisons arguing that its fine for the sudanese to bear the harsh conditions but not for an english 'rose'. at least she wont be blindfolded, muzzled, chained and caged like the other innocently mistaken souls across the pond....

Yes, indeed - seems there's one rule for westerners, another rule for Muslims.

notice how the papers are silent on the issue that it was muslims who secured the release of a christian from a country that they were themselves strangers. papers have a habit of passing of agenda as fact why not twist the muslim effort into a heroic rescue mission against all odds? (despite the fact they were under orders from downing street - but we just wont mention that!)

but no seriously there were battles closer to home that needed intervention from the peers or did that need the nod approval from downing street first? as the previous posters mentioned no need to fly out when there are equally flawed sentences bieng passed at home.

    where to next?
